Brit Deslonde

Owner and artist Brit Deslonde started her career in glass in 2007. Her passion for intricate flamework and creative drive led to developing her own company with a focus on commissioned pieces, sculpture and mixed media art. Enamored with the way light and movement can be portrayed in glass, her pieces are inspired by nature, water and the flow of abstract freeform lines. 

 

   Her training with glass studios and artists led her to 30 A and a 7 year apprenticeship with renowned artist Russ Gilbert, owner of Fusion Art Glass. There she acquired and refined the skillset of large-scale furnace work and warm glass creations. 

 

    Brit's current artistic focus is on mixed media sculpture,  marrying her knowledge of 3 genres of glass with her love of all things creative, including concrete sculpting and woodworking. 

   Brits work has been featured in galleries and museums nationwide, including a piece in the Underwater Museum of Art. She is now the proud owner of The Glass Deer.
